Maria started her employment law career at a local Minneapolis law firm, focusing on employee-side employment litigation, where she represented employees in administrative proceedings as well as in state and federal courts. She thereafter transitioned to a local law firm focusing on HR and employment counseling for Minnesota and nationwide employers. Maria’s work focuses on advising employers of all sizes on a variety of human resources and employment related issues, from hiring to termination, employment procedures and policies, leaves of absences, accommodations, wage and hour, discrimination and harassment prevention, and other employment law compliance issues. Maria brings a unique insight of both the employee- and employer-side of employment law, making it her ultimate goal to minimize her clients’ legal exposures.
Outside of the office, Maria enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
