Max Welsh serves as Deputy General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer for Ogletree Deakins. Max has represented or consulted on behalf of law firms with respect to the legal and risk management issues facing those law firms since 2010. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, He served as Deputy General Counsel for Foley & Lardner LLP and as Senior Risk Management Consultant for InOutsource LLC.

Max began his legal career as an associate at Foley & Lardner in Washington, D.C., after graduating from The George Washington University School of Law. He also worked as an attorney in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Trading and Markets.
