Melissa Lindley devotes the majority of her litigation practice to commercial and employment disputes. Melissa represents plaintiffs and defendants in lawsuits involving claims of fiduciary breaches, violations of restrictive covenants, trade secret misappropriation, and unfair competition. Melissa’s practice also includes representing employers against employment-related allegations, such as claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. In addition, Melissa has defended against Fair Credit Reporting Act (and state equivalent) claims in federal and state courts.

Melissa graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2004. During law school, Melissa served on the Indiana Law Review and Dean’s Tutorial Society. She also interned with Judge James Kirsch on the Indiana Court of Appeals, where she assisted in authoring several opinions. After law school, Melissa served as a criminal prosecutor, where she successfully prosecuted several felony jury trials on behalf of the State of Indiana.
