Michael’s practice focuses on representing employers in various aspects of employment litigation including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, intentional torts and business divorces. He regularly defends employers against administrative charges and complaints brought at the state and federal level. Michael has extensive experience successfully resolving claims through dismissals, appeals and negotiated settlements.
Additionally, Michael has significant experience counselling employers in an array of industries on workplace compliance. He provides clients with guidance on day-to-day human resources concerns. Michael also conducts trainings and consultations at the employee and management level concerning sexual harassment, supervisor responsibility, workplace investigations and implementing remedial actions. Moreover, he regularly works with clients on drafting employee handbooks to fit their business needs and/or maintain handbooks to meet developments in federal, state and local regulations.
