Michael J. Nacchio

Michael represents employers in discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, breach of contract, retaliation, wage and hour, and other employment-related cases, including matters seeking equitable relief. When litigation is necessary, Michael is an experienced first chair trial attorney who has obtained numerous defense verdicts in both state and federal court. He has a demonstrated track record of litigation victories and favorable settlements for clients.

In addition to his litigation practice, Michael also leverages his experience as former in-house labor and employment counsel for Mondelez, a Fortune 500 CPG company, to partner with clients to help them meet their business objectives. His practice includes advice on performance management, employment agreements, pay transparency, restrictive covenants, force reductions, and traditional labor issues. Michael also leads investigations, conducts workplace trainings, and creates client materials including contracts, handbooks, and workplace policies.

In addition to his prior corporate in-house experience, Michael was also an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the City of New York’s Office of the Corporation Counsel from 2011 to 2017, having served in both the Tort and Labor and Employment Divisions.

Michael earned his J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law and his B.A. from Georgetown University where he was a George F. Baker Scholar. He lives in Northern New Jersey with his wife and two sons.
