Mitchell A. Wrosch

Shareholder   |   Orange County

Mitch is a shareholder in Ogletree Deakins’ Orange County office. Mitch’s practice focuses on defending employers in wage and hour class actions and representative actions under the California Labor Code Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA).  Mitch has headed successful efforts to defeat class certification in highly contested cases involving claims for unpaid and untimely wages, inaccurate wage statements, unreimbursed business expenses, and other purported Labor Code violations.  He has developed aggressive motion strategies to reduce exposure and limit discovery in both class actions and PAGA matters.

Mitch represents employers in a variety of industries, including in the retail and pharmaceutical sectors.  Mitch works closely with clients to manage the risk of litigation through the development and implementation of employment policies that comply with the Labor Code and align with clients’ business needs.

In addition to complex wage and hour litigation, Mitch has extensive experience litigating federal civil rights matters and other employment-related issues.
