Myrra’s practice concerns both employment and labor law. As an employment attorney, Myrra has provided guidance on compliance as well as litigatory matters. Myrra has counseled numerous employers on claims involving Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family & Medical Leave Act, the Uniformed Services Employment & Reemployment Rights Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. Her experience also extends to negotiating and litigating class and collective action matters. Additionally, Myrra has drafted and reviewed a multitude of employee programs and documents, including but not limited to employee handbooks, management forms, personal improvement plans, and investigation & disciplinary materials to ensure both compliance on a federal and state level.

Myrra earned her Juris Doctorate from the William S. Boyd School of Law and her Masters in Business Administration from the Lee Business School at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in the Spring of 2020. While attending school, Myrra served on both the Nevada Law Journal as well as the Society of Advocates, Boyd’s moot court program. She received CALI awards in both Labor Law as well as Community Property. Her time in law school also included working as student attorney for the Investor Protection Clinic, providing guidance on investments and filing and supporting claims with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) against unscrupulous brokers.

Prior to coming to Ogletree, Myrra has practiced as in-house counsel, providing legal assistance and managing all Human Resources functions, including matters of payroll, investigations, leave, and company policies. Myrra’s hobbies include cooking, baking, sewing, and floral design.
