Peter D. Roberts

Peter Roberts is a shareholder in the firm’s Wilton, Connecticut office with more than 30 years of business immigration law experience, representing companies of all sizes across all industries throughout the world.  Over the past 10+ years, he has devoted a good part of his practice to the representation of entrepreneurs, founders, startups, and high growth companies.  He loves working with and advising entrepreneurs and founders, oftentimes from the onset of an idea, and helping them to grow their companies into successful and sometimes industry- even world-changing companies.  Peter also has been fortunate to represent many large global companies, helping them to navigate the unique challenges such organizations face as they deal with rapidly changing domestic and international economies and markets.  Peter feels blessed to have had the opportunity to work with so many interesting and wonderful individuals.  Peter is a graduate of Brown University and Northeastern University School of Law and ran his own immigration law firm for 10 years before joining Ogletree Deakins in July 2023.  Before embarking on a career in law, Peter pursued his dream of becoming a playwright, attending (but not graduating from) NYU’s graduate playwriting program.  Fortunately for him, his family, and the world as a whole, his plays will never see the light of day.
