Ricardo Bours is an associate in Ogletree Deakins’ Phoenix office. His practice focuses on representing employers in federal and state courts and before federal and state regulatory agencies in a broad range of employment law matters, including wage and hour violations, harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, contractual disputes, and traditional labor relations. His practice also includes providing day-to-day advice to management on employment issues and counseling clients on how to remain compliant with the ever-changing labor laws.
Ricardo is admitted to practice in Arizona and California. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Ricardo worked as an associate at a prominent San Diego-based firm specializing in civil litigation.
Ricardo earned his J.D., cum laude, from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona. While in law school, Ricardo served as a Managing Editor for the Arizona Law Review, and a member of the Transactional Law Meet team. He was awarded CALI awards for the highest grades in Transactional Law and Legal Research.
Before attending law school, Ricardo earned his B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Colorado. In his personal time, Ricardo enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and spending time with his family, friends and dogs.
