Ricardo Bours is an experienced labor and employment attorney representing clients in Arizona and California. He has successfully litigated numerous wage and hour class actions and California PAGA representative actions across various industries, including agriculture, software, manufacturing, insurance, retail, environmental consulting, and technology. Ricardo has negotiated highly favorable settlements involving thousands of class members and significant potential exposure. He has also secured dismissals of putative class action cases through negotiation and the enforcement of employer arbitration agreements, as well as pre-trial dismissals of PAGA representative actions.
Ricardo also regularly defends employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination before federal and state courts and administrative agencies. He has extensive experience handling claims involving Arizona paid sick time law before the Industrial Commission of Arizona.
In addition to his active litigation practice, Ricardo provides day-to-day advice to employers on compliance with Arizona and California employment laws.
