Rob is a senior associate with nearly ten years of experience defending clients in a variety of different forums.  His practice includes litigating labor and employment matters in federal and state courts, including both single plaintiff and collective action matters brought under Title VII, the ADA, the FMLA, the ADEA, the NLRA, and Section 1981.  Rob’s litigation experience also includes defending employers against claims asserted under the Ohio Civil Rights Act (OCRA), the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act (PHRA), and New Jersey’s Law Against Discrimination (LAD) and Conscientious Employee Protection Act (CEPA).  Rob is also well versed in Pennsylvania’s Medical Marijuana Act (MMA), having valuable experience defending employers in both federal and state court from claims brought under MMA and advising employers on compliance with the Act.

In addition to his strong litigation background, Rob’s practice includes advice and counsel to employers concerning issues of reasonable accommodation, paid and unpaid leave, attendance issues, and discipline and termination. Rob has particular experience in advising employers on issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I).  He helps clients achieve their DE&I goals by assessing the current state of affairs through organizational audits and advising clients on the creation and implementation of legally permissible diversity, equity, and inclusion plans.

Rob possesses a Master’s in Business Administration, which helps provide insight into an employer’s perspective and ensures that the advice provided is not just legally sound but practical.
