Sarah Walsh is a skilled and dynamic advocate who defends organizations and individuals in high stakes employment and government enforcement matters. She represents clients in life sciences, healthcare, media, financial services, technology, and retail sectors along with college and universities. In addition to her litigation practice, Sarah is a trusted advisor who works with her clients to implement proactive compliance measures to help mitigate organizational and business risk.

Sarah is an experienced trial attorney who has successfully tried both civil and criminal cases in multiple state and federal courts. She has defended complex employment matters and represented clients in enforcement actions and investigations before state and federal agencies including the Department of Justice, Department of Labor, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Health and Human Services, Securities and Exchange Commission, Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, and Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, often with no action taken against them. 

In addition to her litigation practice, Sarah is an experienced investigator with a background in both workplace and government investigations.  Sarah has represented clients facing all forms of claims including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation along with whistleblower allegations including violations of the False Claims Act, the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, fraud, embezzlement and other potential criminal violations.

In addition to her litigation and investigations practice, Sarah maintains an active pro bono practice and currently serves as a panel member on the federal Criminal Justice Act (CJA) panel in D. Mass. She is active in local and national bar organizations including serving as a current board member for the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts, as a national leadership committee member for the Boston chapter of the Women in White Collar Defense Association, and as a former white-collar steering committee member of the Boston Bar Association.
