Terri Imbarlina Patak is a shareholder in the Pittsburgh office of Ogletree Deakins. She is an experienced employment lawyer, focusing her practice on both employment litigation and preventive advice, counseling, and training. In her advice and counsel practice, Terri partners with human resources professionals, in-house counsel, and company executives, advising them in the areas of performance management, hiring and firing, avoiding issues of workplace discrimination and harassment, managing disability accommodation and leaves of absences requests, and providing preventive strategies to avoid litigation. In her litigation practice, Terri defends charges of discrimination and harassment at both the administrative agency level and state and federal courts. Her practice also includes internal investigations, policy/handbook development, hiring and interviewing, wage and hour, and other preventative workplace practices.
