Thomas A. Lidbury

Thomas “Tom” Lidbury represents and counsels employers on the full spectrum of employment matters in venues across the United States.  Tom defends employers in class and collective action litigation, including wage and hour claims and discrimination claims.  He also represents employers in unfair competition matters involving trade secrets and restrictive covenants.

Tom has secured dismissal of multi-billion dollar class actions, defeated certification of class and collective actions, won a $159 million jury verdict, and successfully represented clients in state and federal courts of appeal.

Tom also is a leading practitioner in electronic discovery and records management.  He has served as national discovery counsel for Fortune 100 companies, testified as an expert witness on e-discovery in high stakes litigation, presided as a Special Master over discovery and forensics, and taught the subject at leading law schools.
