Thomas focuses his practice on ERISA compliance, health and welfare benefits plans, executive compensation arrangements, and qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, including in the context of mergers and acquisitions. His clients range from tax-exempt to publicly traded companies including private foundations, hospital systems, and credit unions.
Thomas received his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law where he graduated Cum Laude. While in law school, Thomas founded the Tax Law Society, volunteered two semesters with the Phillip C. Cook Low-income Taxpayer Clinic, and participated in the American Bar Association Law Student Tax Challenge.
Prior to attending law school, Thomas played collegiate golf at Huntingdon College where he graduated Cum Laude.
