Tim Keegan is a shareholder in the Salt Lake City and San Diego offices of Ogletree Deakins. Tim’s practice focuses on the defense of employers against claims for discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations. Tim is also a member of the firm’s Unfair Competition and Trade Secrets Practice Group.
Tim’s extensive experience includes successfully first-chairing numerous trials and arbitrations. In addition, Tim has successfully argued scores of motions, including dispositive motions, in both state and federal court.
Beyond Tim’s litigation practice, he also counsels and assists employers on a wide array of matters, including disability accommodations and the interactive process, employee leaves of absence, employee handbooks and policies, and litigation avoidance.
Tim is admitted to practice law in state and federal courts in California, Utah, and Idaho.
In his spare time, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids, chasing them around to sporting events and school activities. Tim also loves the mountains—he hikes, trail runs, and skis whenever he has a chance.
