Veronica Yu Welsh advises and represents employers on employment-related matters in all industries. Veronica serves as a trusted counselor to her clients.
Veronica partners with her clients to provide practical and strategic solutions when navigating the employment relationship. For example, she provides advice on compliance with federal and state employment laws, responding to employee complaints, requests for leave and accommodations, preparing and implementing employee policies, preparing employment agreements, and employee separations. Veronica also conducts complex internal workplace investigations and employee and management training.
Veronica’s practice also focuses on advocating for her clients both during the administrative process, before federal, state, and local agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and in state and federal courts zealously defending employers against claims involving all forms of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, accommodation claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act, wage and hour violations, and enforceability of contract provisions.
In addition to Veronica’s employment experience, Veronica has a diverse litigation background and has represented clients from all different industries in various types of matters, including defending against personal injury, product liability and toxic exposure, and commercial disputes.
Veronica was born and raised in Westchester, New York. She now resides in Maryland with her husband and two Weimaraner dogs.
