First Born is an associate in the Atlanta office of Ogletree Deakins. First’s practice focuses on employment-based immigration applications, mostly O-1 visas for extraordinary ability workers.
He attended Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he received a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with a pre-law concentration. First also received his J.D. from the Georgia State University College of Law.
During law school, First worked as a clerk for the Ogletree Deakins immigration practice, where he assisted with the H-1B lottery process and other employment-based immigration applications. He also worked as a paralegal for the firm’s labor and employment practice, where he became well-versed in the litigation process and various employment matters. He believes that his commitment to service and his experience will help secure positive outcomes for clients and assist foreign nationals in bringing their unique skill sets to the U.S.
