Yash Patel is an associate attorney in Ogletree’s San Francisco office. He represents employers in all matters related to labor and employment law. Specifically, Yash’s practice focuses on representing employers in single-plaintiff, class action, and representative action lawsuits involving claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, disability accommodations, and wage and hour violations. In addition, Yash provides advice and counsel to employers seeking guidance on compliance, employee relations, and risk management issues.
Prior to joining Ogletree, Yash worked at national litigation-based firm in their Silicon Valley office. Yash also worked in the legal department of a global Fortune 500 technology company.
Further, Yash earned his Juris Doctor from the UC Davis School of Law. During law school, he served as Articles Editor for the UC Davis Law Review, Staff Editor for the UC Davis Business Law Journal, member of Moot Court, and Board Member of the Trial Practice Honors Board. Prior to law school, Yash earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UC Davis, where he graduated magna cum laude.
Yash is a member of the South Asian Bar Association of Northern California (SABA-NC) and is fluent in Gujarati, an Indian language.
