Emily Harrington is a senior associate in the San Francisco office of Ogletree Deakins. She represents employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters, with a practice focused on advice and counsel, workplace investigations, and employment litigation.
Emily regularly advises employers on compliance with California’s complex employment laws and partners with clients to navigate issues involving employee relations, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour compliance, leaves of absence, disability accommodation, discipline, and termination decisions. She works with employers across a variety of industries to develop practical, business-oriented solutions that minimize risk while supporting organizational goals.
Prior to joining Ogletree, Emily worked at a respected Northern California boutique employment law firm, where a significant portion of Emily’s practice was devoted to conducting workplace investigations. Emily is an Association of Workplace Investigators Certificate Holder (AWI-CH) and has conducted more than 75 workplace investigations involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, misconduct, and other employee relations concerns for employers throughout California.
