Evan represents employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters in court and before federal and state agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Department of Labor. He aggressively defends employers in high-stakes class and collective action wage and hour litigation, including claims brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act and analogous state wage and hour statutes. He also represents employers in collective bargaining and handles matters involving allegations of misappropriation of trade secrets and restrictive covenants. Evan also provides advice and counsel to employers on a variety of employment and labor topics and prepares and revises employee handbooks, personnel policies, and employment agreements.
