Justin Wiser is a litigator with more than a decade of legal practice experience. His focus is on state and federal litigation, drawing on a diverse background in both private practice and in-house counsel roles. He has represented clients in lawsuits involving employment contracts, non-competition/trade secret disputes, contract disputes, business torts and commercial litigation.
Justin earned his B.A. in Communication from the University of Maryland University College (now University of Maryland Global Campus) while serving in the U.S. Navy. He attended Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude. Prior to law school, Justin served in the Navy for over 6 years as a journalist and paralegal. His last assignment was on board USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) working in the aircraft carrier’s legal department.
Following law school, Justin built a broad litigation practice, working at small, mid-sized, and national law firms, as well as serving as in-house staff counsel for a major insurance company. In addition to business litigation, he has experience defending individuals and businesses in negligence, premises liability and product liability matters.
Justin is a long-time member of the Section Leadership team of IndyBar’s E-Discovery, Cybersecurity, and Information Governance Section.
Outside of the office, Justin enjoys coaching youth sports and outdoor-focused family vacations. He is a longtime Pacers fan.
