Lynn McCormick

Lynn McCormick is Client Team Counsel based in Ogletree’s Boston office. She is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and Connecticut. She assists employers in a wide range of employment-related litigation matters including allegations of discrimination, harassment, disability accommodation, retaliation, and wrongful terminations before state and federal courts, in addition to administrative agencies. She routinely advises clients from inception of matters through resolution.

Prior to joining Ogletree, Lynn was the inaugural Vice President and General Counsel at Wentworth Institute of Technology where she served as a trusted strategic and legal advisor to the board of trustees, president, and administrators on a variety of legal matters related to governance, employment and labor relations, immigration, Title IX, investigations, disability accommodation, contracts, insurance, litigation, and regulatory compliance. She also supervised the human resources, public safety, and Title IX offices, and voluntarily advised the Wentworth Women’s Council, student organization. Before that, she was a principal at a litigation firm focusing on employment and higher education law in Hartford, Connecticut. Lynn also served as a judicial law clerk at the Connecticut Appellate Court for the Honorable Francis M. McDonald, retired Chief Justice, and the Honorable Robert I. Berdon.

Lynn devotes a significant amount of time to community organizations, including serving on the Executive Leadership Team for Go Red for Women, American Heart Association, Southern New England. Lynn has been featured as a panelist and moderator for various bar organizations, webinars, and conferences, including the National Association of College University Attorneys. Additionally, she has been recognized by her peers, including being named a Top Women in the Law in Massachusetts by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.
