Natalia D. Marte

Natalia is a seasoned attorney in the Baltimore, Maryland office whose practice focuses on representing employers in labor and employment matters in federal and state courts and before federal and state agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Natalia also prepares and revises employee handbooks, personnel policies, and employment agreements. In addition, she has experience working with clients to create internal reporting and investigation procedures, as well as handling internal investigations. Given her past experience, Natalia also has a broad range of experience in commercial disputes, including antitrust, white collar crime, product liability, and breach of contract claims, which she uses to aid her work with her current clients. Drawing on years of diverse litigation experience, Natalia brings a proven ability to craft effective strategies and deliver strong advocacy on behalf of her clients.

Before joining Ogletree Deakins, Natalia spent several years working across commercial litigation and labor and employment practice groups, developing deep experience in complex disputes. She also served as a clerk for the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division, Fourth Department, where she handled matters spanning labor and employment, breach of contract claims, zoning board appeals, and family disputes.

Natalia is a recognized leader in the legal community. She currently serves as Treasurer of the Hispanic Bar Association of DC, Secretary of the Washington Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Division, and a member of the Advisory Board of the National Black Law Student’s Association Northeast Region. She previously served as Co-Chair of the Hispanic Bar Association’s Legislative and Policy Committee. In 2025, Natalia was named to the Congressional Black Caucus’ Power 100. Her sustained commitment to leadership and service reflects the same dedication and drive she brings to advocating for her clients.
