The New York City office, which officially opens on Wednesday, is the 41st for Ogletree Deakins, which was founded in 1977 with just two offices and 16 attorneys. The firm now has more than 650 attorneys nationwide.

“A New York City office supports our established strategic initiative to provide premier labor and employment law legal services to employers from coast to coast. It strengthens our commitment to clients in developing and growing our presence in major markets with talented employment lawyers,” said Kim Ebert, Ogletree Deakins’ Managing Shareholder. “This group of lawyers has exceptional credentials and a remarkable reputation in a very crowded marketplace. We believe our presence in Manhattan presents incredible opportunity and we expect to grow this office quickly.”

“We are thrilled to open the New York office with Ogletree Deakins, which is well known for its outstanding client service and deep bench strength in all areas of labor and employment law,” said Cerasia. “Joining Ogletree Deakins gives our team an exciting opportunity to provide our clients with cost-effective representation throughout the country, as well as handle new matters for the firm’s clients in New York. Already, our clients’ reaction has been overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to serving them alongside our colleagues throughout the firm’s 41 offices.”
