Ogletree Deakins Expands in Pacific Northwest, Adds Tamsen Leachman as Shareholder

PORTLAND – April 23, 2018 – Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to welcome Tamsen Leachman as a shareholder in the firm’s Portland office. Leachman joins the firm from the Portland office of Littler Mendelson, where she was a shareholder.

Leachman has practiced labor and employment law for almost 25 years and focuses her practice on employment litigation, day-to-day employment law advice, and proactive training programs. She advises employers on discrimination, harassment, leaves of absence, disability accommodation, labor management relations, and more. Her litigation experience includes handling discrimination and harassment lawsuits, administrative hearings, and arbitrations. Leachman’s training programs are aimed at human resources staff, managers, in-house counsel, and other executives.

She is currently president of the Board of Directors for the Portland Human Resource Management Association, and previously served as General Counsel for the same organization. Leachman is also a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Children’s Developmental Health Institute. Leachman earned her J.D. from University of Idaho College of Law and her B.A. from Eastern Washington University.
