Ogletree Deakins’ Grady (Trey) Crosby Appointed to Board of Directors for College Possible

MILWAUKEE – July 27, 2020 – Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to announce that Grady (Trey) Crosby III in the firm’s Milwaukee office has been selected to serve on the Board of Directors for College Possible Milwaukee.

Through an intensive curriculum of coaching and support, College Possible aims to make college admission possible for more than 800 students in Milwaukee at 14 partner high schools. Students have an average GPA of 2.8, and more than 90 percent are students of color. Students also report an average annual family income of less than $25,000. College Possible expanded to Milwaukee in 2008, and served 53 juniors at three partner high schools. College Possible Milwaukee grew exponentially and now serves more than 800 high school juniors and seniors, 1,300 college students, and more than 2,100 9th and 10th graders through College Prep Talks. Through the generous support of local organizations, foundations, and individuals, the program continues to grow and expand in Milwaukee area schools.

Crosby earned his J.D. from Marquette University Law School and his B.A. from Howard University. He represents employers in employment discrimination matters before federal and state courts in Wisconsin and administrative agencies in multiple state jurisdictions. He is a member of the Executive Board for the Wisconsin Association of African American Lawyers. In 2019, he was awarded the Jean-Marie Sylla, Jr. Legacy Award from the National Bar Association Commercial Law Section (NBA-CLS).
