ATLANTA – March 28, 2022 – The BTI Consulting Group today ranked Ogletree Deakins No. 4 in the BTI Client Service A-Team 2022 report, an annual list of law firms delivering the best client service. The firm was again named to the elite BTI Client Service 30, up 15 places from 2021, and is appearing in the BTI Client Service A-Team report for an eighth time.
The BTI Client Service A-Team report is the only law firm ranking based on direct feedback from the highest-ranking legal decision makers at many of the world’s largest organizations. According to BTI’s research, of the 650 core law firms serving large and Fortune 1000 clients, only 281 are singled out by legal decision-makers for their prowess in at least one of the 17 activities driving superior client relationships.
Ogletree Deakins’ long-term commitment to client service is highlighted by nine “Best of the Best” rankings in 2022—a firm record. The firm also included among 59 firms clients identify as having the most improved client service. Ogletree Deakins improved in 12 of the 17 activities defining excellent client service. Clients note the firm’s increased strength in anticipating their needs and fielding the absolute best team, showcasing the firm’s understanding of the trajectory of client needs in today’s legal environment.
The BTI Client Service A-Team 2022 report draws on data collected in BTI’s ongoing Annual Survey of General Counsel. The research is independent and unbiased, meaning no law firm or organization other than BTI sponsors this study. More than 800 Fortune 1000 corporate counsel clients use this report to evaluate law firms.
Earlier this month, Ogletree Deakins was named as No. 12 for brand strength on the Thomson Reuters US Law Firm Brand Index 2022. The ranking is a reflection of which firms are upper-most in clients’ minds, whom they are most attracted to, and whom they are most likely to give their work.
