Candace Gomez represents and counsels employers of all sizes in employment and labor matters. She has experience in multiple industries including, but not limited to, retail, banking, real estate, construction and technology in state and federal court and before federal and state administrative agencies. She has specific knowledge and experience in numerous employment matters such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, leaves of absences, wage and hour, employment agreements, policies and handbooks, and workplace safety. Candace also has experience in all facets of the litigation process, from the initial investigation and filing through trial and appeal and has successfully obtained defense verdicts for her firm clients.
In addition to defending employers, Candace works closely with management, human resources departments, in house counsel and business owners to provide day-to-day advice and counsel on a variety of workplace issues and to prevent employment litigation. She is the diversity and inclusion ambassador for the Orange County office. Candace is also an effective and animated public speaker and regularly conducts training on employment and labor law topics, such as, sexual harassment prevention, hiring practices, risk management and best practices. Candace prides herself on her responsiveness to clients, work quality and client satisfaction.
