Heidi Durr, a shareholder in the St. Louis office, provides counseling and litigation defense to management in all aspects of employment law, including: investigating and handling employment-related charges and lawsuits under Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, FLSA (including collective actions) and state laws, including school law matters; labor arbitrations under collective bargaining agreements; defending unfair labor practice charges under the NLRA; providing anti-harassment, disability and other training to both managerial and non-managerial employees; drafting and litigating employment agreements (including restrictive covenants); and preparing employee handbooks.
In addition to representing management in numerous single-plaintiff termination or labor/employment-related matters, Heidi has represented companies in more complex litigation. She has practiced law since 1999 and her experience includes:
- single and multi-plaintiff discharge cases;
- wage and hour class and collective actions involving misclassification and off-the-clock allegations; and
- enforcing and defending against non-compete agreements.
