Kristin Snyder Higgins

Office Managing Shareholder   |   Dallas

Kristin Higgins is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Labor and Employment Law and is the Managing Shareholder in the Dallas, Texas office. Kristin has devoted her entire career to litigating on behalf of and partnering with employers on all matters impacting their employees under federal and state labor and employment laws, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other similar civil rights laws. Kristin partners with her clients to determine the best way to meet their needs, whether it be assisting in the implementation of necessary and preventative employment policies, overseeing investigations, negotiating early case resolutions, or aggressively and cost-effectively defending her clients against claims brought in state or federal court.

Being an employment litigator makes Kristin an effective counselor on employment issues and vice versa. Kristin views her counseling role as one designed to make clients self-sufficient and compliant. However, if employment litigation arises, Kristin has a history of zealous advocacy and pragmatic strategy resulting in successful outcomes. Kristin also regularly conducts training for clients and presents on various topics, including the ADA and leave issues, investigations, and harassment prevention.

Kristin received her B.S., magna cum laude, at Texas A&M University in Political Science. She then attended the University of Texas School of Law and graduated with honors. Gig ‘em.
