Eugene F. McMenamin

Upon graduation from college Eugene served in the U.S. Army Military Police Corps from 1971-73 in various billets overseas and stateside where he obtained real world experience in law enforcement, which he now uses to defend employers in criminal investigations involving wage & hour and safety & health matters.

Eugene began his legal career as staff counsel at the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission, Washington, D.C. where he analyzed appeals and drafted decisions on behalf of Commissioner Timothy F. Cleary from administrative law judge decisions involving OSHA enforcement proceedings.

In private practice in California, Eugene concentrated his practice in employer de-unionizing, unfair labor practice defense, ERISA and MPPAA litigation, and workplace safety and health advice and litigation.

Eugene developed and now concentrates in the representation of employers involving catastrophic workplace accidents and aftermath, including criminal, administrative and civil issues, including indemnity and subrogation.

Eugene has extensive experience representing employers in investigations and enforcement proceedings by OSHA, Cal/OSHA, California Workers Compensation Appeals Board, U.S. Chemical and Hazard Investigation Board, MSHA, California State Contractors License Board, California Labor Commissioner and associated criminal law enforcement agencies.
