Steven’s practice focuses on defending employers in wage and hour class actions and representative actions brought under the California Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). He also represents employers in the full spectrum of single‑plaintiff employment matters, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and alleged violations of California’s accommodation and leave laws.
Steven has significant experience managing all stages of litigation, including dispositive motion practice, complex written discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial. He has served as trial counsel in employment litigation, resulting in a complete defense verdict.
Before joining the firm, Steven litigated complex business disputes and products liability matters. He also served as in‑house counsel for a logistics company, gaining practical insight into the operational, compliance, and workforce‑management challenges employers face. This experience informs his strategic, business‑focused approach to defending employment matters.
