Graham is of counsel in the firm’s San Francisco office, where he has built a reputation as a tenacious advocate for employers facing high-stakes and complex employment litigation. Graham’s practice spans the spectrum of management-side defense covering claims of whistleblower retaliation, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, disability accommodations, and wage and hour laws. Graham also represents employers in complex matters involving trade secrets and restrictive covenants. Whether the case calls for early resolution or a fight in trial or arbitration, Graham is driven by a singular focus: achieving the best possible outcome for clients. Graham uses creative strategies to achieve a track record of significant wins at arbitration, trial, summary judgment, and appeal for clients including tech companies, renowned universities and hospital systems, multi-state manufacturers, Fortune 500 companies, and a wide range of other businesses and sizes.
Beyond the courtroom, Graham serves as a trusted counselor to employers navigating the increasingly complex patchwork of federal, state, and local employment laws. Graham takes a practical, business-minded approach—translating legal risk into actionable strategy to help clients make confident decisions about hiring, termination, compliance, and other workplace matters.
Before joining Ogletree Deakins, Graham honed his litigation and employment law experience across a range of practice settings. Graham previously worked in the employment group of a national law firm and at a specialized law firm where he defended employers, businesses, attorneys, and other professionals. Graham began his legal career as a post-bar law clerk at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office, an experience that sharpened his trial instincts and deepened his commitment to vigorous client advocacy.
Graham earned his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law. During law school, he advised local small businesses as a legal intern at the Temple Small Business Development Center and gained litigation experience working at the Litigation Division of the Philadelphia City Solicitor’s Office. Graham earned his B.S. in Political Science and a Minor in Justice Studies from Arizona State University.
