Rebecca (Becca) represents employers of all sizes in all aspects of employment litigation and workplace counseling.

Becca has extensive experience defending employers in single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims brought under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and analogous state laws. Becca also regularly defends employers in complex wage and hour class actions and unfair competition and trade secret disputes, including matters involving non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.

In addition to her litigation work, Becca represents employers before federal and state administrative agencies, including but not limited to, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, the Colorado Civil Rights Division, the Utah Labor Commission, and the Montana Human Rights Bureau.

Becca devotes a significant portion of her practice to advising employers on workplace compliance and personnel matters. She counsels clients on the development and implementation of workplace policies and employee handbooks and counsels employers on termination, discipline, workplace investigations, leaves of absence, and ADA accommodation issues and the interactive process. She also provides training and counseling sessions for human resources professionals and management teams on a wide range of employment law topics.

Becca has developed specialized knowledge in Colorado employment law. She regularly advises clients on compliance with the Colorado Wage Claim Act, the Colorado Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance Act, the Protecting Opportunities and Workers’ Rights (POWR) Act, the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act, and other Colorado-specific employment statutes.

Becca received her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law with a certificate in Workplace Law. While in law school, Becca received the John Phillip Linn Labor Law Award for receiving the highest GPA in the Workplace Law Program. In addition, she served on the Board of Student Ambassadors and Moot Court and was a member of the Student Trial Lawyers Association. Becca received her undergraduate degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder.
