Mauricio Romero Alpuche was part of Ogletree Deakins from 2017 to 2021. He rejoined the firm in June 2022 after working at a leading firm in Mexico City, where he was part of the labor practice group. Mauricio has experience in all types of litigation before Local and Federal Boards and in Amparo claims. Mauricio began his legal career in 2012 as an intern at a local boutique firm specializing in labor litigation.
Mauricio currently focuses on employment consulting and assisting national and international companies, including preparing and reviewing all types of employment contracts, internal work regulations, and internal work policies. He has advised national and foreign companies in the execution, negotiation, and legitimization of collective bargaining agreements, as well as the attention of lawsuits for review of such contracts before the Labor Courts.
Mauricio speaks fluent Spanish and English.
