Jeffrey A. Bove

Jeff regularly represents employers in litigation, arbitration, and administrative matters. With more than a decade of litigation experience, Jeff has handled complex disputes through all stages of litigation, from pre-suit investigations and discovery through trial. His experience includes jury trials, arbitrations, and other contested proceedings involving employment discrimination, unfair competition and restrictive covenants, and complex civil matters under a broad range of federal and state laws.  

Jeff believes that understanding each client’s business, industry, and priorities is critical to achieving successful outcomes. He works closely with business leaders, human resources professionals, and in-house counsel to develop practical litigation strategies aligned with their business objectives and advises employers on proactive measures designed to reduce risk and avoid future disputes.

Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Jeff practiced with a Metro Detroit medical malpractice litigation firm, where he represented healthcare providers in professional liability matters and medical licensing investigations. That experience helped establish the litigation and trial foundation that continues to inform his practice today. While attending Wayne State University Law School, Jeff interned at the Michigan Supreme Court and clerked in the Office of General Counsel for a major health insurance provider.
