Nolan Theurer

As Compliance Counsel for the Knowledge Management team, Nolan develops and maintains legal resources and guidance for Ogletree Deakins clients, including policy and handbook generation. Nolan’s work also supports the firm’s compliance and prevention advice and counsel services, with a focus on labor and employment compliance under California law.

Nolan joins Ogletree Deakins and the Knowledge Management team after four years of litigation in federal and California state courts, where he advocated on behalf of employers and business owners on single-plaintiff and class action employment, insurance and ERISA matters, as well as administrative proceedings and private arbitrations. Nolan also frequently assisted employer-clients by preparing employee handbooks, reviewing and revising employment policies, and providing concise and clear counsel in response to client inquiries.
