As we approach the one-year anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision ending affirmative action in higher education, the scrutiny on employers’ diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs has not abated. A recent poll found that nearly three-fourths of corporate leaders plan to increase DEI programming in the next two years. Still, a smaller percentage expect to increase investments in DEI, and a third have expressed concerns that DEI programs unfairly advance some employees but not others.
