Ogletree Deakins Strengthens New York Presence, Aaron Warshaw Returns as Shareholder

NEW YORK CITY – October 21, 2024 – Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to welcome Aaron Warshaw back to the firm’s New York City office. Warshaw returns to the firm after serving as Vice President, Counsel for the Americas at communications company WPP Group USA.

With 17 years of experience in employment law, including 10 years at Ogletree Deakins, Warshaw has skillfully advised and defended employers on a broad array of labor and employment matters. He has a deep understanding of the employment lifecycle and assists employers with preparing and overseeing risk assessments, workplace investigations, employee handbooks, restrictive covenants, and separation and severance agreements. Warshaw also has a successful track record in litigation, including handling single plaintiff and class/collective action cases in state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and arbitration.

In his previous role, Warshaw advised human resources and stakeholders on a variety of employment law matters, including executive compensation, discrimination, harassment, reductions-in-force, wage and hour, unfair competition and trade secrets, leave and accommodations, and hiring and background checks. He also ensured compliance with multi-state and cross-border employment laws and oversaw governmental compliance matters.

Warshaw is active in the community, serving as a Director of the Brooklyn Law School Alumni Board. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School and his B.A. from Wayne State University.
