Ogletree Deakins Welcomes Distinguished Labor Lawyer Mark Nelson in Denver

DENVER – November 19, 2024 – Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to welcome Mark Nelson to the firm’s Denver office as a shareholder. Mark joins the firm from Spencer Fane, where he was a partner.

With more than three decades of experience, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge in representing employers in complex labor relations and employment issues. Mark works directly with business management leaders to provide innovative and effective strategies related to human resources counseling, employment litigation, and traditional labor law.

Mark’s experience covers the gamut of labor and employment law matters, including union avoidance, union organizing campaigns, contract negotiations, labor disputes, merger and acquisition negotiations, and unfair labor practice and arbitration proceedings. In particular, he has served as counsel to numerous healthcare providers and manufacturing, service, and government contracting companies.
