Kari is excited to start her career as a litigator representing employers. Her practice focuses on wage and hour class actions, as well as single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims. Prior to and throughout law school, Kari worked as a paralegal for the second largest school district in the nation on complex litigation matters, as well as, at a municipal law firm assisting public agencies with a variety of legal matters.
Kari received her J.D. from Southwestern Law School’s evening program, and she received her B.A. from the University of California, Irvine. While in law school, Kari served as a Dean’s Fellow, Co-Vice President of the Latino Law Students Association, the Chair of the Board for the Trial Advocacy Honors Program, and the Special Projects Editor on the Board of the Southwestern Law Review. Additionally, Kari was a Certified Law Student in the Appellate Litigation Clinic and externed in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
In her free time, Kari enjoys traveling with her husband, reading with her cats, and creating art.
