Alok K. Gupta

Alok has represented employers in all aspects of employment law, with a focus on litigation. He previously served as the General Counsel at two different manufacturing companies, representing each in a broad range of litigation matters, including trial work as well as monitoring and supervising outside counsel as both plaintiff and defendant. At one of these companies, Alok also led Human Resources in a hybrid role as General Counsel and Sr. VP, Human Resources, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. Before going in-house, Alok litigated for nearly ten years at Los Angeles based law firms.

While Alok now focuses his practice on litigation, his other areas of expertise include advising management in unfair competition and theft of trade secrets, wage and hour, performance management of employees and hiring, discipline and terminations. He has conducted and led countless workplace investigations, and has led teams of lawyers, both in-house and outside counsel. He is a strategic legal thinker, advising, analyzing, and proposing solutions in alignment with business objectives and mitigating legal risks.
