Ashley Fasano Fawcett is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Ogletree Deakins. Ashley represents employers in all aspects of employment litigation, including in wage and hour, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and whistleblower matters. Ashley specializes in defending employers in class and representative Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) actions for violations of the California Labor Code and Wage Orders. She has helped employers in a variety of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, and retail, navigate and resolve complex PAGA lawsuits comprised of hundreds to tens of thousands of employees. Ashley also works closely with employers on compliance with California and federal employment laws to limit the risks of future employment litigation.
Ashley received her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and received her B.S. in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from The Pennsylvania State University. As a student at USD School of Law, she co-founded the Name and Gender-Marker Change Clinic, which provides legal assistance to transgender and nonbinary individuals seeking name and gender-marker changes through the California Superior Court.
