Hannibal P. Odisho

Of Counsel   |   San Francisco

Hannibal Odisho graduated from the University of California, Berkeley (B.A. in Political Science with an emphasis on International Politics and Post-Soviet Russia) and The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law. He has been licensed to practice in California since 2009. He began his practice working for a public entity and representing public entities at a mid-size law firm before transitioning to representing private sector employers at two small law firms in San Francisco.

Hannibal started his practice in employment litigation, where he defended single plaintiff and class and PAGA wage and hour actions and represented employers in administrative actions, before focusing exclusively on advice and counsel work. His clients have included small biotech and fintech start-up companies, one of the nation’s largest auto retailers, small businesses, and non-profit organizations. His experience includes providing day-to-day advice and counseling on best workplace practices, developing employment policies, compliance, and strategic planning on various areas of California employment law.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Hannibal had a brief career working for internet start-up companies during the first ‘dot-com’ boom, which he followed up with a production management career in the computer animation and visual effects industry.

Outside of work, he enjoys film and film history, rooting for his Warriors/Giants/49ers/Sharks/Cal Bears/Ohio State Buckeyes, hiking and enjoying nature, traveling with friends, and reading.
