Michelle Henson

Michelle is an of counsel in the Fresno office of Ogletree Deakins, where she represents employers in labor and employment matters, including workplace safety and health (Cal/OSHA) matters and claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination.

Michelle is experienced in representing employers in Cal/OSHA matters from the initial inspection, all the way through an administrative appeal (trial) of citations. Michelle also advises employers on legal safety issues and Cal/OSHA regulations.

Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Michelle served as Staff Counsel for the Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA), handling workplace safety and health matters from initial inspection through the administrative appeal process. In addition, Michelle conducted rulemaking to update workplace safety and health regulations along with extensive review and analysis of legislative bills affecting workplace safety and health.
