Susan is an associate at the Ogletree Deakins Toronto office where she advises employers across a broad range of labour, employment, human rights matters, and on data privacy. She has experience in matters before administrative tribunals and in the court system, in mediated settlement negotiations, and in the review of employer contracts, policies, and internal documents.
Susan provides advice and counsel for both Canadian and cross border and international privacy work, including incident breach and access request response, review of employee data privacy policies, and assistance in structuring compliance-related documents.
In addition to completing her Juris Doctor with Distinction at the University of New Brunswick, Susan holds a Master’s degree in English from York University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Queen’s. Susan brings a wealth of professional experience in both the public and private sectors that allows her to respond to client needs with sensitivity, insight, and intelligence.
Susan graduated from law school on the Dean’s List, served as President of the Law Students’ Society, and was named Most Outstanding Graduate by faculty members for her academic achievements and civic engagement.
In her free time, you can find Susan at the gym, watching movies, or experimenting in the kitchen.
