Ogletree Deakins Strengthens Employment Litigation Team in Portland with Addition of Emma Redden as Shareholder

PORTLAND, Ore. – January 6, 2026 – Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to welcome Emma Redden as a shareholder in the firm’s Portland, Oregon, office. Emma joins the firm after more than a decade at Baker Donelson, where she became a shareholder in 2023.

Emma focuses her practice on employment litigation and provides advice and counsel to employers across a range of industries, including healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, and higher education. She represents organizations in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies, handling claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour issues. Emma also advises on compliance and workplace matters, including disability and medical leave, employee discipline, terminations, and policy development.

With significant experience supporting educational institutions, Emma assists with Title IX compliance, conducts investigations, and provides training and guidance on sensitive employment issues.

Emma earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law and a B.A. from Rhodes College.
