Devon Collins has joined the firm’s Columbus office as a shareholder. Collins joins Ogletree Deakins from Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, where he practiced since 2020.
Collins advises, counsels, and represents employers of all sizes across a wide range of issues, pulling from nearly a decade of labor and employment law experience. His practice focuses on managing compliance and litigation matters involving the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), and other federal and state employment statutes. He has substantial experience representing employers in litigation and trials before state and federal courts across the country, and he has defended countless charges filed with the Department of Labor (DOL), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and numerous state employment commissions.
Collins represents employers in matters involving discrimination, wage and hour compliance, breach of contract, defamation, and restrictive covenant disputes. He works closely with business executives and human resource leaders to proactively mitigate risk, consulting on appropriate strategies and leading workplace training.

Collins earned his J.D., cum laude, from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and his B.A. from Otterbein University in Ohio. He is a member of the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio and serves on the Section Council for the Ohio State Bar Association.
