Matt A. Vega

Matt Vega is a member of the EEO Advantage team and is based in Tennessee. As Special Counsel, he is responsible for handling administrative agency charges from investigation to conclusion. In partnership with the client, Matt defends the charge by drafting persuasive position statements and responses to the agency’s requests for information and/or pursues resolution of the charge through formal or informal settlement negotiations. Matt has practiced law for over three decades for a variety of clients of private law firms as well as in-house counsel for three Fortune 500 companies, including one of the world’s largest express transportation companies. He has extensive experience handling employment litigation and regulatory issues arising under a broad range of activities. Beside his law practice, Matt is a former dean of an ABA-approved law school and enjoys a successful academic career as a professor of law and ethics and dean of an ACBSP-accredited business school.
