Venesa E. Ruiz

Venesa Ruiz has worked in the field of immigration law since 2019 and has practiced as a licensed attorney since 2021. She has extensive experience in employment-based immigration, assisting clients with immigrant and nonimmigrant processes across a wide range of visa types, including: H-1B, H-1B1, L-1, O-1, TN, E visas, EB-1, EB-2 NIW, PERM, and various other processes.

Before joining Ogletree Deakins, Venesa practiced at boutique and medium-sized law firms, representing corporate and individual clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to smaller start-up organizations. She also gained valuable insight working on the in-house immigration team at a major tech company (FAANG). As a first-generation American, Venesa has a deep passion for immigration law and is committed to advocating for her clients with integrity and dedication.
